About the Role
You will manage on-site material receiving, inspection, storage, preservation, inventory control, issuing, returns, and surplus tracking. You will coordinate deliveries, maintain location records, perform cycle counts, reconcile inventory, align materials with construction schedules, and coordinate safe material movement with site teams and trade partners.
Requirements
- 5+ years in site materials management, warehousing, or field logistics for industrial, power, or data center construction projects.
- Experience receiving and storing major electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Experience with OEM preservation requirements.
- Strong inventory-control and reconciliation practices.
- Fluency with inventory or ERP tools and Excel.
- Barcode or scanning system experience is a plus.
- Experience working in active construction environments.
- Forklift certification and rigging awareness are preferred.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Run delivery scheduling, gate coordination, unloading, inspection, and receiving records.
- Document OS&D issues with photographs and coordinate discrepancy resolution.
- Manage laydown yards, warehouses, and climate-controlled storage.
- Enforce OEM preservation and maintenance requirements for stored equipment.
- Maintain inventory records, run cycle counts, and reconcile physical inventory.
- Issue materials to trade partners and track returns, surplus, and attrition.
- Align material readiness with three-week construction lookaheads.
- Coordinate crane and forklift resources and maintain safe laydown areas.
