About the Role

Prepare, package, and improve shipping activities for manufactured products and parts. Process shipping documents, coordinate loading, inspect inventory, tag materials, move materials with a pallet jack or forklift, complete quality records, document damages and shortages, and train new team members while following safety procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or a related role
Forklift experience
Ability to use basic hand tools
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for a full workday
Proficiency with ERP software such as Infor Visual or Acumatica
Experience with ISO 9001:2015 standards
Drug and alcohol program participation
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check

Responsibilities

Follow the shipping schedule
Prepare and process shipping invoices and packing slips
Coordinate and perform loading of outgoing shipments
Package materials to prevent damage
Inspect incoming and outgoing inventory
Tag materials with required information
Move materials with a pallet jack or forklift
Load and unload delivery trucks
Complete quality check sheets
Photograph projects to create quality history
Document damages, overages, and shortages
Update the status board
Provide staffing and hiring input
Train new team members
Follow safety policies and procedures
