About the Role
You will create and manage master production schedules across multiple manufacturing locations, analyze resources and production data, generate reports, communicate schedules and delays, identify workforce and material issues, resolve resource conflicts, analyze MRP data, and coordinate with procurement, materials management, and production teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data analysis, manufacturing, business, or a related field
- 7+ years of production planning or scheduling experience
- Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to script data programs using Google Sheets Script
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and Google products
- Experience with scheduling programs such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or Monday.com
- Experience with MRP or ERP systems such as Acumatica, Oracle ERP, SAP, SAGE, or Infor
- Manufacturing experience and understanding of material flow principles
- Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Drug and alcohol program participation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Experience with Arena Simulation or industrial engineering software
- Experience with MS Power Automate
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the master production schedule
- Analyze resources and production rates
- Generate scheduling reports
- Communicate three-week and twelve-week schedules
- Lead production schedule review meetings
- Provide project status updates
- Identify workforce, material, and shipping issues
- Monitor and improve the scheduling process
- Identify critical paths and resolve resource conflicts
- Address material availability challenges
- Analyze MRP data
- Coordinate with procurement, materials management, and production departments
