About the Role
You will lead manufacturing operations and a local organization supporting contract manufacturers and suppliers. You will drive NPI, pilot, ramp, and sustaining builds; establish performance-management systems; resolve yield, test, process, material, and schedule issues; and hold suppliers accountable through reviews, corrective actions, audits, and change management.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in hardware, electronics, systems, or semiconductor manufacturing
- People management experience across supplier quality, production engineering, manufacturing test, and technician functions
- Experience managing Taiwan or broader Asia-based supplier and contract manufacturing operations
- Experience with escalations, corrective actions, and capability improvement
- English communication
- Mandarin capability is strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead NPI, pilot, ramp, and sustaining builds across system integrators, mechanical suppliers, and OSAT partners
- Ensure readiness across materials, processes, fixtures, test capacity, labor, and documentation
- Establish performance-management systems for output, WIP, shortages, yield, throughput, test performance, defects, cycle time, and shipment readiness
- Resolve yield, test, process, workmanship, material, and schedule issues using structured methods
- Build supplier accountability through performance reviews, scorecards, escalation paths, corrective actions, audits, and change management
