About the Role
You will lead production scaling for robotic systems, partner with design engineers on manufacturability and cost, maintain manufacturing documentation and BOMs, support part qualification and supplier quality, and improve the speed and ease of building production systems.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience bringing complex electromechanical products from prototype to production
- Experience with metal fabrication, rigging, and heavy machinery
- Ability to read and create mechanical drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Written and verbal communication skills for working with engineers, suppliers, technicians, and leadership
- Ability to work 4-5 days per week from the San Leandro HQ
- Ability to travel approximately 10% to field deployment sites
Responsibilities
- Lead the building and scaling of robotic-system production
- Collaborate with design engineers to improve manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and assembly
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, drawings, and BOMs
- Support part qualification, incoming inspection, and supplier quality initiatives
- Improve the speed and ease of building robotic systems
