About the Role
You will manage web engineers building and operating the marketing web stack. You will own the technical roadmap, CMS, publishing workflow, design system, performance, launch engineering, and internal tools that help non-engineers publish safely.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years managing engineers
- Engineering management experience in a marketing, brand, or design engineering organization
- Experience owning a high-traffic marketing or brand web surface

Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, hire, and grow the web engineering team
- Own the technical roadmap for anthropic.com and claude.com
- Own CMS architecture, publishing workflow, performance, SEO, localization, design system, deployment pipeline, on-call, and incident response
- Run launch engineering for model, product, and campaign releases
- Build internal tools, integrations, and Claude-in-the-loop publishing workflows
- Partner on creative technology, data visualizations, interactive explainers, and campaign experiences
- Align web engineering work with Marketing, Product, Communications, and Engineering
