About the Role
You will build, mentor, and grow a frontend engineering team. You will define the technical vision for user-interface frameworks, prioritize requirements with design and product engineering, guide AI interface development, refine designs against constraints, and improve the quality and performance of key product surfaces.
Requirements
- 4+ years of engineering management experience
- Track record of building and scaling high-performing teams
- Experience delivering projects across multiple teams or departments
- Technical experience with React, CSS, CSS frameworks, mobile web, and Figma
- Communication skills for technical leadership, mentoring, performance management, and career development
- Recruiting experience building teams
- Ability to lead through changing requirements
Responsibilities
- Build, mentor, and grow a team of frontend engineers
- Define the technical vision and strategy for user-interface frameworks
- Engage design and product engineering teams to understand and prioritize requirements
- Set and sequence a vision for AI user interfaces
- Refine designs using technical constraints, timelines, and resources
- Improve the quality, performance, and usage of important product surfaces
