About the Role

You'll lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers, building a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. You'll inspire your team to drive outcomes aligned with OKRs, define QA KPIs, and share regular updates with senior and executive leadership. You'll drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Product, and Release Management, and shape the overall QA strategy covering test planning, execution, automation, and release certification. You'll own and evolve the automation framework built on Playwright, oversee automation pipelines using Argo and Jenkins, and use Datadog for monitoring and quality insights. You'll champion best practices for test automation, CI/CD integration, and defect management, drive root cause analysis on customer-reported issues, and maintain clear documentation of test frameworks and quality standards. You'll report to a leader based in the United States and collaborate across time zones as part of a globally distributed team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of QA or Developer experience, with at least 3 years in a people management or QA leadership role
  • Proven ability to inspire action, motivate teams, and drive measurable outcomes aligned with OKRs
  • Demonstrated experience defining QA KPIs and presenting quality metrics and updates to senior leadership
  • Excellent communicator with demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment and influence without authority
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium Grid, TestNG, and JUNIT is required
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright (Java and TypeScript) is strongly preferred
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins and Argo
  • Proficiency with GitHub, Datadog, and modern QA tooling
  • Familiarity with Postman for API testing
  • Strong programming skills in Java and/or TypeScript
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline

  • Oversee end-to-end automation pipelines using Argo and Jenkins
  • Leverage Datadog for monitoring, observability, and proactive quality insights
  • Champion best practices across test automation, CI/CD integration, and defect management using GitHub
  • Drive root cause analysis on customer-reported issues and implement systemic fixes
  • Maintain clear documentation of test frameworks, processes, and quality standards
