About the Role

You will lead process engineers responsible for turning engineered-to-order product data into production-ready manufacturing data for power distribution equipment. You will oversee build readiness and Clear to Build milestones, own MBOMs, help implement a PLM system, review technical documentation, and coordinate with purchasing, production, inventory, and project management. You will also standardize manufacturing processes, work instructions, and documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
At least 7 years of manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering experience
At least 2 years of direct people management experience
Expert technical ability to guide the team through complex technical problems
Experience managing MBOMs and working with ERP systems
Experience as a power user, stakeholder, or partner in PLM implementations
Ability to interpret fabrication drawings, electrical schematics, and complex engineering bills of materials
Familiarity with sourcing, purchasing, production management, and continuous improvement methodologies
Ability to lead and collaborate across multiple sites with a geographically dispersed team
Participation in a drug and alcohol program

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop process engineers
Own manufacturing build readiness and Clear to Build milestones
Partner with the PLM Administrator on PLM implementation, rollout, and support
Own Manufacturing Bills of Materials and oversee EBOM-to-MBOM translation
Review fabrication drawings, electrical schematics, and engineering bills of materials
Coordinate deliverables with purchasing, production, inventory, and project management
Create, standardize, and maintain Manufacturing Bills of Processes and Visual Work Instructions
Partner with suppliers and vendors to secure quotes, evaluate proposals, and support external manufacturing
