About the Role
You will lead and grow manufacturing and industrial engineers. You will design production layouts and assembly stations, establish manufacturing instructions, optimize throughput, select and implement equipment, and own the manufacturing roadmap from prototype through full-scale deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- 7+ years of professional engineering experience
- 3+ years in a leadership or management role
- Experience in defense, robotics, aerospace, or complex electromechanical manufacturing
- Ability to review CAD models
- Knowledge of plant layout and value stream mapping
- Experience building or scaling manufacturing teams in a fast-paced startup
Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and grow manufacturing and industrial engineers
- Lead the design and setup of assembly stations, production layouts, and material flow
- Determine tools, jigs, and fixtures for repeatable manufacturing
- Champion Lean manufacturing and DFM initiatives
- Analyze production data and resolve bottlenecks
- Translate engineering blueprints into manufacturing instructions and SOPs
- Oversee selection and implementation of manufacturing equipment
- Own the manufacturing roadmap from prototype to deployment
- Manage budgets and production milestones
