About the Role
You will own accounting for infrastructure capital expenditure and fixed assets. You will manage close activities, apply ASC 360 guidance, advise partners on contracts, improve data and controls, support auditors, mentor accounting professionals, and automate financial reporting processes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Technical accounting knowledge of ASC 360
- Experience managing a significant fixed-asset portfolio in a high-growth environment
- Experience improving scalable financial processes
- Experience mentoring junior accounting professionals
- Experience working with engineering, infrastructure, or operations teams
Responsibilities
- Own accounting for infrastructure capital expenditure and fixed assets
- Manage monthly close, construction-in-progress tracking, reconciliations, roll-forwards, and flux analysis
- Apply ASC 360 accounting to infrastructure arrangements
- Advise Data Center Operations, Legal, and Finance on accounting implications of contracts
- Explain financial-statement impacts to non-finance stakeholders
- Improve upstream operational and contract data pipelines
- Design scalable systems, processes, and controls
- Mentor junior accounting professionals
- Serve as a contact for external auditors
- Drive reporting process improvements and automation
