About the Role
You will help provide leverage to clients by understanding and prioritizing their needs while effectively scaling UK/Europe Fund services. You will bring transparency to founders, VCs, General Partners and LPs, helping them make more accurate decisions using tools like real-time IRR and portfolio data. You will interact with clients daily, manage relationships, work with external auditors and tax providers, review financial deliverables, and help mentor junior team members while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulations.
Requirements
- Experience maintaining managing and nurturing multiple client relationships
- Experience supporting and onboarding new customers
- Experience interpreting and understanding Limited Partnership Agreements
- Experience reviewing financial statements and footnotes ensuring consistency with appropriate reporting framework
- Experience understanding interpreting and working on Waterfall calculations management fees and carried interest allocations
- Experience working on complex entity structures and report consolidations
- Strong critical thinking problem solving and decision making skills
- Experience managing and monitoring timely delivery of quality client deliverables
- Deep understanding of Fund Administration for Venture Capital Private Equity Hedge Funds or Private Debt funds
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills with Xero Investran and Quickbooks experience
- Experience implementing accounting data into a general ledger system
- Experience managing and mentoring a team
- Experience leveraging technologies to automate processes and gain efficiencies
- Experience providing training and guidance to new and existing team members
- ACCA CPA or CMA preferred
- IFRS or international financial reporting experience preferred
- 8+ years of experience in the Venture Capital Private Equity or Accounting services industry
Responsibilities
- Help provide leverage to clients by understanding and prioritizing their needs while scaling UK/Europe Fund services
- Support capital calls and distributions
- Provide audit and tax support
- Support pre and post close services
- Prepare quarterly and annual financials
- Manage Limited Partner communications
- Bring transparency to founders VCs General Partners and LPs to help them make accurate decisions
- Provide real-time IRR and portfolio data
- Provide additional data points such as TVPI and RVPI
- Improve product and software by working with product and engineering teams
- Consult with clients and implement Fund Administration software
- Interact with clients daily and manage client relationships
- Interact with external auditors and tax providers
- Review client deliverables including financial packages capital calls distributions and ad-hoc requests
- Assist Directors to execute new and current processes
- Ensure the accounting team is compliant with internal controls and regulations
- Mentor junior team members
