About the Role
You will manage the operation and maintenance of assigned campus buildings and grounds. You will lead technicians and vendors, oversee HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression, electrical, janitorial, and landscaping services, manage work tickets and preventive maintenance, support site projects, control costs, and provide on-call support for critical facilities and emergencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or supply chain
- 5+ years of facilities engineering or project management experience
- Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed
- Ability to provide 24/7 on-call support
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a high-tempo environment
Responsibilities
- Lead facilities-maintenance teams for assigned campus buildings
- Oversee HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression, and electrical systems
- Manage the work ticketing system and break-fix response
- Manage third-party service providers
- Partner on site improvement projects
- Administer preventive maintenance and break-fix programs
- Develop after-hours support for troubleshooting and emergency repairs
- Coach and hold technicians accountable to safety, quality, and response-time standards
- Manage maintenance costs, vendor performance, and building standards
