About the Role
You will perform organizational-level maintenance on X-BAT unmanned aircraft systems and associated ground support equipment. You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, document maintenance actions, build wiring harnesses, follow safety programs, and help improve maintenance instructions.
Requirements
- Aviation maintenance and operations experience.
- Ability to read technical manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, engineering drawings, torque specifications, inspection criteria, and maintenance instructions.
- Proficiency with maintenance tools and precision measuring equipment.
- Ability to inspect aircraft components for wear, cracks, corrosion, damage, and inspection compliance.
- Ability to maintain maintenance, inspection, configuration, and quality records.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- U.S.-issued passport.
Responsibilities
- Conduct organizational-level maintenance on X-BAT unmanned aircraft systems and ground support equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft systems, components, and equipment.
- Use technical documentation to complete maintenance accurately and safely.
- Document inspections, discrepancies, repairs, replacements, and maintenance actions.
- Construct wiring harnesses and solder components.
- Comply with maintenance training and certification requirements.
- Improve maintenance instructions, inspection checklists, and manuals.
- Coordinate maintenance best practices with engineering, quality, production, flight operations, supply chain, and field support.
- Comply with tool-control, FOD-prevention, HAZMAT, ESD, and safety programs.
