About the Role
You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment and controls. You will conduct preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, handle refrigerants safely, interpret technical drawings, document service work in CMMS, and coordinate maintenance and commissioning activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation experience
- Ability to troubleshoot HVAC equipment including rooftop units, split systems, chilled water systems, and building automation controls
- Knowledge of ASHRAE, OSHA, and local mechanical codes
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible for required export authorizations
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems and associated controls
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related faults
- Handle, recover, and recharge refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations
- Read HVAC schematics, manuals, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Inspect and service ductwork, coils, filters, drains, belts, and components
- Apply lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA safety standards
- Coordinate with facilities leadership, contractors, and project managers
- Document maintenance work, service records, and parts usage in CMMS
