About the Role
You will build and lead the field logistics and dispatch function. You will create processes for kitting, dispatch, delivery, returns, equipment tracking, fleet operations, and contingency response. You will hire and manage coordinators and dispatchers while maintaining live visibility into equipment across active sites.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of logistics, dispatch, fleet operations, or field equipment coordination experience.
- Experience building or scaling an operational function.
- Experience hiring, managing, and developing a team.
- Experience managing physical equipment through dispatch, delivery, recovery, and return.
- Experience building systems and processes.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating across teams and external partners.
- Proficiency with tracking systems, spreadsheets, project management tools, Google Sheets, Jira, Confluence, and inventory systems.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Design processes, SOPs, and checklists for kitting, dispatch, delivery, and returns.
- Recruit, hire, and manage logistics coordinators and dispatchers.
- Manage the equipment lifecycle from requests and scheduling through delivery, tracking, returns, inspection, and damage logging.
- Establish systems that provide live visibility into equipment location, quantity, and availability.
- Manage the internal vehicle fleet and supplemental transportation strategy.
- Build and lead contingency-response procedures for field issues.
