About the Role
You will design, build, automate, operate, and modernize secure Linux infrastructure across classified environments. You will develop automation, implement cybersecurity controls, integrate identity and virtualization services, troubleshoot complex issues, and support mission-critical operations and maintenance.
Requirements
- BS degree in a related technical field and at least five years of Linux engineering or administration experience
- Current Top-Secret clearance with Q and SCI eligibility
- Expertise with RHEL/Linux engineering, troubleshooting, performance tuning, automation, and scripting
- Experience with Ansible, Python, Bash, enterprise virtualization, identity integration, storage, monitoring/logging, and cybersecurity compliance
- Ability to independently solve complex technical challenges
- Ability to obtain and maintain SCI clearance
- Pass pre-placement and ongoing random drug testing
Responsibilities
- Engineer and modernize secure Linux infrastructure
- Design, build, configure, optimize, and sustain physical and virtual Linux platforms
- Develop automation using Ansible, Python, Bash, and Git-based workflows
- Implement cybersecurity requirements, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, monitoring, and secure logging
- Integrate Linux environments with identity, virtualization, storage, backup, and monitoring capabilities
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues with partner teams
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies and architectures
- Support mission-critical operations and planned maintenance
