About the Role
You will develop and operate private cloud services, turning product and user requirements into reliable deployed services. You will use infrastructure-as-code, observability, and automation to deploy, test, and improve cloud infrastructure while supporting critical AI systems.
Requirements
- Software engineering or IT experience as an individual contributor
- Experience managing on-premises or private-cloud environments
- Linux scripting and system administration skills
- Experience with bash, Python, awk, sed, Ubuntu, RHEL, and variants
- Experience with Git, CI pipelines, Terraform, OpenTofu, Ansible, or Packer
- Understanding of cloud services, virtualisation, networks, storage, monitoring, and observability
- Legal right to work in the UK
Responsibilities
- Develop and operate private cloud services
- Turn product and user requirements into reliable deployed services
- Deploy, test, and improve cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code, observability, and automation
- Support AI systems using high-performance servers, networks, and storage
- Work with datacentre, software, and product teams to maintain critical systems
