About the Role
You will maintain the health of Linux server platforms supporting a high-performance trading environment. You will design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure; automate software and hardware tasks; write and maintain scripts and tools; manage server infrastructure across local and third-party data centres; and perform analysis, monitoring, performance tuning, and operational support.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of systems engineering experience
- Advanced experience with Linux distributions, including RedHat and Ubuntu
- Experience managing and running services within K8s clusters
- Experience automating daily software and hardware tasks
- Python or Bash scripting experience preferred
- Experience with build and configuration management tools, including Ansible, Rundeck, Puppet, and Foreman
- Experience with system monitoring and alerting tools, including Icinga, Nagios, Prometheus, and Alertmanager
- Experience with VMware, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Experience supporting storage platforms and protocols
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tooling
- Linux kernel and low-latency performance tuning knowledge
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Experience troubleshooting multicast and TCP performance issues
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues
- Good English communication skills
