About the Role
You will inspect IT equipment, diagnose miners, maintain site hashrate, and replace failed equipment. You will follow daily priorities, support research and development of new technologies, keep work areas clean, protect the computer fleet, and travel between Quebec sites as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- DEP in electronics or computing preferred
- 6+ months of preferably similar experience
- Valid driver's license
- Personal vehicle for work-related travel
- Ability to perform material-handling tasks to move miners
- Availability for a flexible weekday or weekend schedule
Responsibilities
- Inspect equipment regularly for condition and performance issues
- Diagnose miners using manufacturer or internal software
- Maintain high site hashrate
- Participate in daily meetings with the lead technician
- Execute planned tasks according to priorities and temperature
- Diagnose and replace failed equipment
- Participate in research and development of new technologies
- Keep work areas clean
- Maintain computer fleet security
- Travel between sites and facilities in Quebec
