About the Role
You will lead the legal and regulatory function and develop regulatory strategy. You will oversee compliance, reporting, policies, and regulatory developments, support product development, and manage privacy and data-security policies.
Requirements
- Ability to translate complex legal and regulatory concepts into practical action
- At least 5 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles
- Comprehensive knowledge of the FMA and its regulations
- Solid legal expertise in FinTech or financial services, or relevant consulting or law-firm experience
- Ability to manage a diverse workload and meet strict deadlines independently
- Experience managing financial-services licence applications and working with supervisory authorities is a plus
- Experience with MiCAR, MiFID II, securities compliance, or payment or e-money institutions is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead the legal and regulatory team
- Develop and implement regulatory strategy
- Guide the business through regulatory challenges
- Ensure high-quality reporting for local supervisory authorities and auditors
- Oversee and implement compliance and regulatory strategies
- Set and implement company policies and requirements for compliance and regulatory matters
- Support product development with product and strategy teams
- Monitor regulatory developments, particularly MiCAR and crypto-assets
- Manage data protection and data-security policy implementation
