About the Role
You will provide legal advice for new and existing Web3 products, product features, marketing materials, and regulatory changes. You will draft, review, maintain, and negotiate commercial agreements, policies, terms of service, disclaimers, and business templates. You will manage external counsel, monitor legal and compliance developments, brief stakeholders on legal processes, and support Web3 business activities.
Requirements
- Be a qualified lawyer with 8–15 years of post-qualification experience
- Have experience with blockchain and decentralized Web3 products and services, including token projects, dApps, and aggregator platforms
- Hold U.S. Bar admission, preferably
- Understand product management and software development workflows
- Demonstrate sound judgment on business practices, stakeholder management, and reputational risk
- Be proficient in spoken and written English
- Demonstrate drafting, communication, stakeholder-management, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support for Web3 products, features, marketing materials, and regulatory changes
- Draft, maintain, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, policies, terms of service, disclaimers, and templates
- Liaise with and manage external counsel
- Monitor legal and compliance developments and advise on their impact on the Web3 business
- Maintain and brief stakeholders on internal standard operating processes
- Provide general legal support to Web3 business teams
