About the Role
You will handle legal matters for regulatory compliance across the fintech business with a focus on funds settlement laws and crypto asset related regulations. You will draft and review contracts such as service agreements and partnership agreements, perform legal checks for new products, contribute to AML/CFT compliance, collaborate with engineers BizDev and HR, coordinate with external legal experts, and monitor regulatory developments to share insights with internal teams.
Requirements
- Law degree or basic legal knowledge
- Ability to draft and organize documents including contracts
- Experience in corporate legal work and contract review preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for stablecoin matters including regulatory compliance for funds settlement laws
- Ensure compliance with funds settlement and related financial regulations and build internal processes
- Perform legal checks for new business and product launches
- Draft review and negotiate contracts including service and partnership agreements
- Develop and operate AML and CFT compliance programs
- Coordinate legal guidance with engineers BizDev and HR
- Manage external legal counsel and provide direction
- Research regulatory developments in Web3 crypto assets and share findings with internal teams
