About the Role
You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements covering game publishing and distribution, intellectual property and brand licensing, marketing, partnerships, services, and SaaS/vendor contracts. You will support early-stage investment deals, corporate housekeeping, and company secretarial coordination. You will monitor digital-asset regulations and provide practical internal guidance. You will also assist with intellectual property, data privacy, consumer terms, platform compliance, and prompt commercial advice for business teams.
Requirements
- Be qualified to practise in Hong Kong or another common law jurisdiction with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Have training or practice at a reputable law firm or comparable in-house experience.
- Demonstrate commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Communicate clearly in plain English.
- Exercise sound judgement about when to decide and escalate.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Support early-stage investment deals, including SAFEs, SAFTs, token warrants, subscription agreements, and shareholders’ agreements.
- Manage corporate housekeeping, including board and shareholder resolutions, corporate records, and company secretarial coordination.
- Track digital-asset regulatory developments and provide practical internal guidance.
- Assist with intellectual property matters, including trade mark portfolio management and brand enforcement.
- Provide prompt commercial advice to business teams.
- Support data privacy, consumer terms, and platform compliance matters.
