About the Role

Own Ripple's talent pipeline for specialized Quantitative Engineers and Researchers, partnering with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to develop recruiting strategy, attract elite technical talent, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience, including 3+ years focused on Quantitative Engineering, High-Frequency Trading, or Machine Learning talent.
  • Preferred combination of specialized agency search and in-house startup experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to source and convert passive, highly compensated talent.
  • Experience sourcing through math Olympiads, research labs, and diversity-in-STEM academic events.
  • Self-starter mentality, strong organization, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
  • Ability to discuss C++, Python with NumPy and Pandas, Rust, low-latency systems, and distributed computing.
  • Experience recruiting in the Bay Area or a financial hub, with knowledge of FinTech and quantitative hedge fund markets.
  • Proficiency with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Entelo, SeekOut, GitHub, and related sourcing tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage PhDs and elite engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Own the specialized recruiting process from sourcing through complex offer negotiations for Quantitative Engineering and Algorithmic Trading positions.
  • Develop high-level recruiting strategies aligned with engineering priorities and aggressive hiring goals.
  • Create innovative sourcing strategies using niche technical, academic, and quantitative finance communities.
  • Provide a white-glove candidate experience and prepare candidates for rigorous technical assessments.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand quantitative technology stacks, modeling requirements, and performance engineering needs.
  • Drive intake meetings, interview team kick-offs, and technical debriefs.
  • Deliver weekly performance analytics and progress reports to hiring managers and senior leadership.
