About the Role
You will serve as the finance partner for a strategic program. You will lead forecasting, EAC, financial planning, variance analysis, executive reporting, and contract financial support. You will create dashboards, improve processes, implement financial tools, and mentor junior finance professionals.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 7+ years of finance experience at a U.S. government contractor
- Experience with Program Finance, Project Finance, FP&A, or related finance roles
- Knowledge of FFP, CPFF, T&M, and cost-reimbursable contracts
- Experience leading EAC, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting experience
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience supporting complex technology development programs
- Experience with financial dashboards or process automation
- Knowledge of FAR, CAS, and revenue recognition
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead finance partner for a strategic program
- Partner with program management, engineering, contracts, and other stakeholders
- Lead forecasting, EAC, financial planning, variance analysis, and risk identification
- Develop financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools
- Standardize processes and implement scalable financial tools
- Implement industry best practices for program financial management
- Mentor junior Program Finance team members
- Support strategic initiatives, process transformations, and special projects
- Prepare executive reporting and communicate financial risks and recommendations
- Support program startup, contract execution, and planning for new efforts
