About the Role
Own Deblock's growth in La Réunion as the operational engine and local face of expansion, managing market development, on-the-ground operations, strategic partnerships, customer acquisition, and trust-building with local stakeholders.
Requirements
- Structured and operational, able to build project plans and work in person to execute them.
- Strong analytical rigor with the ability to set KPIs, track performance, and build models and project plans.
- Business development experience opening doors, building local pipelines, and creating partnerships in Saint-Denis, Saint-Pierre, and Saint-Paul.
- Comfort with logistics, card distribution, and commercial contract negotiation.
- Experience developing business or scaling a consumer or fintech product is valued.
- Existing contacts across La Réunion retail, media, payment, or distribution platforms are valued.
Responsibilities
- Localize Deblock's global playbook and own growth in La Réunion with clear KPIs and an end-to-end roadmap.
- Manage local operations including receiving Visa cards, onboarding partners, and distributing cards to customers.
- Identify, pitch, and close partnerships with local retailers.
- Build credibility with partners, consumers, and local stakeholders.
- Represent Deblock at partner meetings, community events, and in the press.
