About the Role
You inspect and test electrical components, subassemblies, installations, and finished products to verify quality and compliance. You perform process audits, prepare testing and commissioning reports, document standards and non-conformances, verify regulatory requirements, calibrate electrical test equipment, and collaborate with safety, engineering, and manufacturing teams. You may travel up to 100% depending on project needs.
Requirements
- Journeyman Electrician with 5+ years of industry experience or 7+ years in electrical assembly or inspection
- Experience with low- and medium-voltage electrical installations
- Working knowledge of IEC, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and NETA testing specifications
- Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, HMI, MCC, and UPS
- Ability to identify electrical components, hardware, and equipment
- Ability to read, understand, and trace electrical schematics
- Basic computer skills with Word and Excel experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods
- Ability to pass a background check
- Willingness to participate in a required drug and alcohol program
- Ability to travel up to 100% depending on project needs

- Inspect electrical installations, subassemblies, and finished goods
- Audit electrical assembly and wiring processes
- Prepare testing and commissioning reports
- Document electrical quality standards and specifications
- Verify compliance with approved standards and drawings
- Document material non-conformances
- Collaborate with safety, engineering, and manufacturing teams
- Verify compliance with regulatory and commercial codes
- Assist with electrical test equipment calibration
- Support the quality assurance process
