About the Role

Provide end-to-end technical support across the organization, manage user accounts, resolve service requests, evaluate new technologies, maintain system and network security and privacy, document repairs and procedures, conduct safety checks, and train users.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a relevant position.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth understanding of computer systems, hardware, software, and networks.
  • Experience with Windows, macOS, Linux, and office automation products such as Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
  • IT Technician certification, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional, is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, responding promptly to service issues and requests.
  • Provide technical support across the company.
  • Set up accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.
  • Test and evaluate new technology to improve IT support.
  • Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Provide procedural documentation and relevant reports.
  • Keep records of repairs and fixes.
  • Provide timely technical support and train users.
  • Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
