About the Role
You will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize high-performance, low-latency infrastructure supporting financial market operations. You will administer RHEL systems on bare-metal hardware and hypervisors, maintain highly available routing and multicast environments, implement security controls and disaster recovery procedures, coordinate maintenance windows and upgrades, and improve configuration management, observability, and operational tooling.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Demonstrate experience with complex, mission-critical infrastructure environments
- Have hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, PIM, and IGMP
- Be curious, proactive, and able to identify operational issues early
- Use strong reasoning skills and think several steps ahead
- Respond quickly and confidently to incidents under pressure
Responsibilities
- Support, tune, and optimize RHEL systems on bare-metal hardware and hypervisors
- Maintain highly available routing and multicast environments using BGP, OSPF, PIM, and IGMP
- Design and implement security controls and disaster recovery procedures
- Lead maintenance windows and operational upgrades
- Coordinate with internal teams, external exchanges, and colocation providers
- Improve configuration management, observability, and operational tooling using Ansible, Zabbix, and Python
