About the Role
You will support investor relations by preparing quarterly earnings materials, analyzing financial and market information, and maintaining investor communication records. You will work across functions to develop finance and board content, engage with investors and analysts, support events, review analyst models, and coordinate with external investor-relations providers.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of finance or accounting experience
- Investor relations experience at a publicly traded company or equity research experience preferred
- Knowledge of financial statements, equity valuation models, and reporting requirements
- Expertise using and implementing AI tools
- Knowledge of GSuite, Excel, or other data-management tools
- Knowledge of investor relations systems such as Nasdaq IR Insight, Alphasense, Virtua, or Workiva is a plus
- Understanding of Regulation FD and SEC disclosure rules and regulations
- Project management experience across cross-functional internal teams and external relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
- Payments industry knowledge is a plus
Responsibilities
- Support the creation of quarterly earnings-call materials, including press releases, scripts, Q&A, presentations, fact sheets, financial and legal backup, reporting, and transcript reviews
- Develop board memos and content supporting finance initiatives
- Interact with investors regarding the company’s business model, operating results, and strategy
- Support investor and analyst events, including conferences, meetings, and non-deal roadshows
- Monitor and report on industry and peer-company information, research reports, news, and earnings calls
- Analyze sell-side analyst notes and highlight key themes for management
- Review analyst models and build relationships with sell-side associates
- Collaborate with web-hosting, surveillance, investor-relations consulting, and targeting providers
- Document investor calls, summarize highlights, track interactions in the database, and improve communication and targeting strategies
