About the Role
You will complete accurate daily investment-processing activities and meet client service standards. Depending on your functional area, you may maintain market data, place and monitor orders, transfer holdings, process corporate actions, settle payments, manage cash and foreign-exchange transactions, reconcile assets and ledgers, investigate breaks, and maintain risk and compliance controls.
Requirements
- Have operations experience in the wealth-management or platform industry
- Have client-services experience
- Use Excel for data analysis
- Work accurately and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of the platform industry is preferred
- Technical operational knowledge relevant to the assigned function is preferred
- Change-management experience is preferred
- Understanding of financial-services risk and compliance policies is preferred
- Understanding of applicable regional regulations is preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver operational services to clients and internal partners
- Maintain operational relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Complete daily processing accurately and according to required quality standards
- Meet contractual KPIs and KRIs
- Support operational transformation and continuous-improvement programmes
- Complete control attestations and risk-event and breach reporting
- Follow operational controls and provide evidence of achieved standards
- Protect the quality of client-asset and client-money processing
- Maintain required training and professional knowledge
- Manage static data and pricing information
- Manage vendor data sources and provide accurate information to users
- Place and monitor mutual fund and equity orders
- Perform daily controls and intervene manually when required
- Transfer platform holdings into and out of custody
- Issue stock transfer forms and support electronic re-registration
- Investigate transfer requests and coordinate trades and settlements with counterparties
- Process mandatory and voluntary corporate actions
- Source and validate corporate-action information
- Maintain and clear stock and cash ledger control accounts
- Reconcile client holdings against agent holdings
- Process client cash transactions, market settlements, ledger movements, and foreign-exchange trades
- Support exception and regulatory reporting
- Maintain accurate interest rates across supported currencies
- Reconcile investment holdings, transactions, general ledgers, and bank accounts
- Investigate and clear reconciliation variances and short positions
