About the Role

You will process account transfers, wires, checks, internal transfers, ACH disbursements, IRA distributions, and rollovers. You will resolve complex transaction issues, support customers and frontline teams, coordinate with clearing firms, maintain compliance documentation, mentor specialists, and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• FINRA Series 7 or SIE and Series 7 Top-Off and Series 63 certification
• Current or prior Banking Support Specialist experience or equivalent banking operations experience
• 1-3 years of experience in banking operations brokerage operations or a similar licensed role
• Bachelor's degree or related work experience
• Experience with ACAT transfers wire processing check handling and ACH disbursements
• Knowledge of IRA distribution rules rollovers and 60-day rollover requirements
• Basic understanding of trade settlements options positions and security types
• Familiarity with AML regulations and fraud detection patterns
• Sound judgment and critical thinking for complex transaction matters
• Experience mentoring or training team members
• Strong interpersonal communication collaboration reconciliation and organizational skills
• Ability to process high transaction volumes and manage competing priorities

Responsibilities

• Process full and partial ACAT account transfers
• Review and process domestic and international wires checks internal transfers and ACH disbursements
• Process IRA distributions 401(k) rollovers and IRA transfers
• Scan checks and maintain accurate transaction records
• Resolve ACAT rejections documentation issues and account discrepancies
• Handle escalated wire transfer inquiries and complex funding issues
• Support customers and frontline teams with money movement matters
• Comply with AML regulations and escalate suspicious activity
• Coordinate with clearing firm operations teams
• Mentor and train Banking Support Specialists
• Recommend improvements to banking policies procedures and technologies
• Identify processing bottlenecks and test new banking tools and workflows
