About the Role
You will manage daily inventory operations and support procurement activities. You will verify received goods, organize storage and stock requests, forecast demand, coordinate restocking, oversee counts, investigate discrepancies, track vendor deliveries, and maintain inventory and procurement records.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of relevant inventory management, accounting, financial, or administrative experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Administration, Business, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or Logistics
- Understanding of procure-to-pay processes
- Excel or Google Sheets
- Written and verbal communication
- Analytical skills
- Understanding of accounting principles
- Work authorization in the Democratic Republic of Congo
Responsibilities
- Verify received item quality and quantity against packing lists
- Organize goods arrivals and ensure safe storage
- Track internal stock requests and ensure timely delivery
- Forecast demand and usage to maintain accurate stock levels
- Maintain stock above alert thresholds and coordinate restocking
- Organize inventory counts and investigate discrepancies
- Improve inventory processes
- Track order status and delivery timelines with vendors
- Support procurement documentation
- Maintain inventory database integrity
- Perform ad-hoc procurement duties
