About the Role
You will manage inbound and outbound deliveries, with particular focus on importing GPUs and critical electronic components into Malaysia. You will coordinate documentation, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to clear shipments promptly, maintain compliance, resolve issues, and improve logistics processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, international trade, engineering, business administration, or a related field
- 1 to 5 years of logistics, import/export, customs clearance, freight forwarding, or supply chain experience
- Experience with Malaysia import/export processes and customs clearance
- Understanding of Malaysian customs procedures, HS codes, import permits, COO/Form E, customs declarations, and customs valuation
- Knowledge of air freight, sea freight, and Incoterms
- Ability to speak and read Malay, English, and Mandarin
- Excel and data analysis skills
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end import and export processes for critical materials
- Coordinate import documentation and supporting documents
- Work with customs brokers and freight forwarders on declarations and clearance
- Resolve customs clearance issues and document discrepancies
- Coordinate with Malaysian authorities on import clearance and regulatory matters
- Maintain import and customs records for audit and compliance
- Monitor shipments through final delivery
- Identify shipment delays and implement recovery actions
- Manage freight forwarders, courier companies, and customs brokers
- Monitor forwarder performance and validate payment requests
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian customs and regulatory requirements
- Maintain and improve import and export procedures
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Support new product introductions and urgent shipment recovery
