About the Role

Build and own the systems, channels, and programs that keep Plaid employees informed, aligned, and energized. The role spans executive communications, company-wide programming, change management, internal AI communications, editorial strategy, intranet ownership, and employer brand content.

Requirements

At least 7+ years of internal communications experience at a fast-paced technology company.
Track record of building or significantly scaling an internal communications program.
Excellent written, verbal, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency with AI tools and experience developing or owning an AI-related narrative preferred.
Experience producing high-quality All Hands meetings.
Strong executive presence and experience counseling senior leaders or founders on high-stakes communications.
Experience partnering with HR, IT, Workplace, Legal, or similar internal operations teams.
High attention to detail and ability to distill complex ideas into clear communications.
Ability to operate effectively as part of a team of one or a lean team.
Video editing and AI skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted communications partner to Plaid leaders.
Own executive talking points, emails, presentations, and Slack messages.
Lead internal communications strategy across All Hands, Business Reviews, Q&As, announcements, and updates.
Shape Plaid's internal AI narrative and explain its impact on employees.
Partner with People, Workplace, Security, Finance, Legal, and production teams.
Lead change communications for key initiatives.
Define the internal communications operating model, channel strategy, cadences, and editorial calendar.
Create repeatable playbooks and templates for recurring communications programs.
Own and improve the intranet and internal communications platforms.
Develop employer brand, careers website, and workplace blog content.
