About the Role

Shape product and UX for Cycles Prime and future institutional offerings, designing for traders, treasurers, operations teams, and finance leaders. Turn complex financial workflows into trusted interfaces, partner with engineering to prototype and ship quickly, conduct user research and usability testing, and guide product strategy from closed pilot through public launch.

Requirements

  • 5+ years shipping institutional-grade products end-to-end in fintech, payments, trading, clearing, or crypto market infrastructure.
  • Track record of shipping 0-to-1 products and iterating based on customer feedback.
  • Understanding of institutional users' need for control and transparency.
  • Strong product judgment, UX, and information architecture skills for complex financial products.
  • Fluency in Figma and modern design tools, with responsive web and mobile design experience.
  • Ability to work effectively with engineers in fast-moving remote environments.
  • Portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and clear UX reasoning.
  • Based in New York and able to be in the city most weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product and design across institutional products from discovery and user research through shipped web and mobile interfaces.
  • Turn clearing, settlement, and treasury workflows into confident, usable product flows.
  • Define the product design language, UX patterns, and interaction principles.
  • Partner with engineering to prototype, test, and ship quickly while maintaining quality.
  • Run user research and usability testing and incorporate findings into the product.
  • Drive product strategy and roadmap, identify new surfaces, prioritize work, and decide what to ship.
