About the Role
You will lead end-to-end HR operations for Hong Kong across onboarding, employee lifecycle changes, benefits, payroll coordination, immigration, and offboarding. You will ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, maintain accurate HR data, resolve operational issues with internal and external partners, analyse metrics, and deliver process improvements and HR projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
- 5–7+ years of HR Operations experience, including at least 3 years specialising in the Hong Kong market
- Knowledge of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, MPF regulations, salaries tax requirements, and statutory benefit obligations
- Experience managing Hong Kong immigration matters, including IANG, Employment Visa, and dependent visas
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or multinational environment
- Stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end HR operations across the employee lifecycle for Hong Kong
- Oversee onboarding, including first-day preparation and orientation programmes
- Manage employee lifecycle changes, offboarding, benefits administration, payroll coordination, immigration, employment documentation, audits, and statutory submissions
- Ensure compliance with the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, MPF requirements, salaries tax filings, and statutory leave and benefit calculations
- Maintain accurate HR systems and employee data in line with governance and compliance requirements
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Finance, Legal, IT, and external vendors to resolve operational challenges
- Improve processes and leverage technology, automation, and AI tools to enhance efficiency and employee experience
- Analyse operational issues, implement practical solutions, and strengthen service quality
- Prepare and analyse HR operational metrics and reports
- Lead or support HR projects and process-improvement initiatives
