Tools for Humanity is a technology company founded in 2019 and headquartered in San Francisco and Munich. It builds and operates services including World ID App and World App, which provide interfaces for creating and using World ID, accessing Mini Apps, and managing digital assets through a self-custodial wallet. It also develops the Orb and Orb Mini proof-of-human hardware and software, using encrypted iris-imaging processes and open-source components, and leads design and planning for World Spaces.

About the Role
You will partner with department heads and senior management to design and execute people strategies. You will advise on organizational structure and change, mediate and resolve employee grievances, coach managers on performance and conflict resolution, analyze regional HR metrics, and ensure payroll, insurance, and legal compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of HR experience focused on employee relations, talent management, and compliance
- In-depth understanding of local and regional labor laws and regulatory environments
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; additional languages preferred
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with HRIS and data-driven HR analytics
- Advanced degree in Human Resources or related field
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute people strategies with department heads and senior management
- Advise on organizational structure, change management, and employee engagement strategies
- Mediate and resolve employee grievances regionally
- Identify and resolve workplace issues to promote a healthy work environment
- Advise and train managers on performance feedback and conflict resolution
- Analyze regional HR trends and metrics and develop solutions, programs, and policies
- Implement organizational change initiatives aligned with business strategies
- Identify team and executive training and coaching needs
- Evaluate and monitor training programs for success and ROI
- Ensure consistent application of people policies and adherence to compliance and governance frameworks
- Ensure compliance with local and federal labor laws and legal developments
- Provide HR support for German and EU employees
- Oversee accurate and timely processing of payroll and insurance
