About the Role
You will support daily HR operations and office administration, serve as employees’ first point of contact, maintain records and documentation, coordinate recruitment and employee lifecycle processes, manage workplace services and vendors, organize engagement activities, and assist with audits, compliance work, and HR projects.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in HR, administration, or a similar role
- Experience in HR operations and office administration
- Basic understanding of Malaysian employment practices and regulations
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of daily matters
- Ability to work in a small fast-paced team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience with HRIS or other HR systems is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Support candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and hiring administration
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR and administrative matters
- Answer general HR enquiries and coordinate with the central HR team
- Maintain employee records and personnel documentation
- Prepare HR letters and employee documents
- Support employee onboarding, confirmation, transfer, and offboarding
- Coordinate employee access, equipment, workspace, and other onboarding and offboarding requirements
- Communicate and implement HR processes and company policies
- Manage daily office administration and operations
- Coordinate office and pantry supplies, equipment, access cards, parking, courier services, and workplace requirements
- Liaise with building management, contractors, service providers, and vendors
- Coordinate office maintenance and resolve workplace issues
- Manage administrative purchases, quotations, invoices, and vendors
- Maintain records for office assets, equipment, contracts, and administrative documents
- Support meetings, company visits, events, and local activities
- Organize employee engagement activities, celebrations, and team events
- Implement company-wide HR initiatives locally
- Gather employee feedback and escalate relevant concerns
- Support HR and administrative projects
- Assist with internal audits, compliance activities, and documentation
- Coordinate with the central HR team to maintain consistent HR processes and policies
- Perform ad hoc HR and administrative duties
