About the Role
You will supervise food-service and catering operations, set service standards, manage staff, coordinate events, and maintain food safety. You will oversee product quality, inventory, scheduling, payroll support, reporting, training, customer service, and vendor communications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ years of food service industry experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Availability for all shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Participation in internal leadership and development training
- Food Manager Certification and TABC certification or ability to obtain them
Responsibilities
- Set and enforce hospitality and guest-interaction standards
- Implement new services, offerings, and training programs
- Oversee food service and catering operations
- Manage direct reports, hiring, evaluations, development, and feedback
- Coordinate events and catering requests
- Enforce food safety practices and maintain safe workstations
- Train staff on customer service, menu knowledge, allergens, and nutrition
- Monitor product quality, service, menu accuracy, and inventory
- Support scheduling, sales reporting, and administrative work
- Communicate with vendors about orders, deliveries, and quality issues
