About the Role
You will build operating rhythms for leadership, board preparation, and planning. You will run people operations, payroll, benefits, legal administration, contracts, office logistics, vendor management, procurement, and internal tools. As scope grows, you will define and hire operational roles.
Requirements
- 6+ years in operations
- 2–3 years at a Series A or Series B startup scaling headcount from 30 to 100
- Experience across finance, legal, people, and operational functions
- Spreadsheet, P&L, headcount-modeling, and burn-modeling skills
- Hands-on experience building operational processes such as payroll, equity, contracts, close cycles, board reporting, or vendor management
- Ability to work in person from San Francisco
Responsibilities
- Build weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating cadences
- Run people operations, offers, onboarding, payroll, benefits, equity, performance reviews, and offboarding
- Manage recruiting operations activities including references, background checks, and work authorization
- Own legal administration for customer, vendor, NDA, and contractor agreements
- Run office, equipment, offsite, and real-estate logistics across two countries
- Manage vendors, renewals, procurement, security review, and cost optimization
- Define and hire future operational roles
