About the Role
You will own daily HIL and infrastructure laboratory operations, technical readiness, asset control, schedules, and standards. You will build and maintain racks, test benches, compute and network systems, perform wiring and fabrication, troubleshoot lab issues, provision test environments, maintain records, and support customer integration events.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting engineering laboratories, integration and test facilities, avionics, mission systems, electronics, IT infrastructure, industrial equipment, or comparable technical operations
- Experience supporting engineering laboratories, integration facilities, test environments, maintenance operations, or mission systems
- Experience assembling, maintaining, and troubleshooting electromechanical equipment, test infrastructure, computing systems, electronics, or avionics hardware
- Experience with accountable assets, serialized hardware, inventory, calibration, spares, shipping and receiving, maintenance history, or configuration records
- Ability to coordinate lab operations, schedules, equipment availability, maintenance activities, priorities, and dependencies
- Ability to work from wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, rack layouts, bills of materials, work instructions, and technical manuals
- Competence with wiring, cable and connector work, fabrication, hand tools, digital multimeters, continuity testing, rack integration, and electromechanical troubleshooting
- Experience with Windows and Linux computers, software installation, configuration, log collection, and technical documentation
- Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
Responsibilities
- Operate HIL and infrastructure laboratories
- Build, configure, inspect, and maintain lab infrastructure and test equipment
- Maintain asset, inventory, calibration, maintenance, and configuration records
- Manage lab schedules, equipment reservations, maintenance windows, and integration priorities
- Perform wiring, cable assembly, connector installation, crimping, soldering, and fabrication
- Read and update technical drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and work instructions
- Provision and restore development and test environments
- Diagnose and resolve power, wiring, compute, networking, software, instrumentation, and mechanical issues
- Coordinate procurement, inspection, shipping, receiving, vendor repairs, and capacity planning
- Maintain lab safety, cybersecurity, export-control, ESD, cleanliness, labeling, and configuration standards
- Support customer integration events, demonstrations, exercises, and evaluations
