About the Role
You will define high-speed interconnect architectures and develop requirements, validation plans, and test strategies for copper cables and optical transceivers. You will analyze link budgets, lead component qualification and reliability testing, document cluster requirements, and align system designs with supplier roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of high-speed communications experience
- Experience with signal integrity, channels, and links
- Experience building link and channel budgets
- Experience with Keysight ADS, VNAs, TDRs, BERTs, and protocol analyzers
- Knowledge of cable specification, testing, accelerated life testing, mating life, and failure analysis
- Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology
Responsibilities
- Define high-speed interconnect architectures for AI clusters
- Develop requirements, validation plans, and test strategies for copper cables and optical transceivers
- Document topologies, routing assumptions, and cable requirements
- Perform link and channel budget analysis
- Lead qualification and reliability testing for interconnect components
- Align system designs with supplier roadmaps
