About the Role
You will build and run the full recruiting function from scratch. You will design processes and tooling, create clear hiring pipelines, screen and progress candidates, manage interview logistics, and ensure founders meet only well-vetted candidates. You will use data to track pipeline health, manage external recruiters, eliminate process drift, and continuously improve the system to hire better people with less wasted time. You must work on-site in Paris and operate with high standards and strong ownership.
Requirements
- English fluency (≥C1)
- Strong experience in recruiting operations, talent acquisition, or building hiring systems in demanding environments
- Ideal experience in startups, finance, professional services, or adjacent high-performance environments
- Operator mindset with ability to run processes, enforce standards, and close loops
- Strong judgment and taste for talent
- Obsessive organization and attention to detail
- Takes ownership and fixes unclear or broken processes
- Comfortable working directly with founders and handling sharp feedback
- Based in Paris and willing to work on-site
Responsibilities
- Own recruiting end to end across technical and non-technical roles
- Build the recruiting function from scratch, including process, tooling, workflows, and interview operations
- Create clear hiring pipelines with defined stages, owners, next actions, and decision points
- Keep complete control over candidate flow, interview logistics, follow-ups, and status changes
- Screen candidates for quality, motivation, communication, and role fit
- Work directly with founders to define roles, calibrate candidate quality, and tighten hiring standards
- Run a process that is fast, organized, and high-signal
- Eliminate ambiguity, dropped balls, ghosting, and process drift
- Use external recruiters where useful and manage them tightly
- Track pipeline health, conversion, bottlenecks, and throughput
- Continuously improve the hiring system to increase quality and reduce wasted time
