About the Role
You will lead and shape operations across the organization. You will own and oversee the day-to-day running of core operational processes, design and implement scalable workflows and controls, and partner with the COO and C-suite to translate business objectives into effective operational execution. You will lead operational planning for a rapidly growing organisation, ensure accuracy and integrity of data through reconciliations and reporting, identify risks and design proactive solutions, manage cross-functional projects, and build and mentor the operations function. You will collaborate with product, finance, legal, and technology to ensure seamless process integration and maintain internal controls, and act as a point of escalation for complex operational issues until resolved.
Requirements
- Have experience leading an operations function in a fast-growing or scaling business environment
- Have significant experience in an operations, finance, or related role, with proven ownership of processes and outcomes
- Have a strong ability to manage complexity, prioritise effectively, and deliver against deadlines
- Pay high attention to detail, balanced with the ability to think strategically
- Are comfortable rolling up sleeves and leading by example in a hands-on environment
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Are self-directed, solutions-focused, and results driven
- Have strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Have experience with financial products or real-world assets
- A strong interest in fintech, tokenisation, and the future of investing
Responsibilities
- Own and oversee the day-to-day running of core operational processes across the organization
- Design implement and continuously improve scalable operational workflows controls and documentation
- Act as a strategic partner to the COO and C-suite translating business objectives into effective operational execution
- Lead operational planning and prioritisation to support a rapidly growing organisation
- Ensure accuracy consistency and integrity of operational data including oversight of reconciliations validations and reporting
- Identify operational risks and inefficiencies and proactively design solutions to mitigate or resolve them
- Manage and deliver cross functional operational projects and initiatives
- Build develop and mentor operational capability within the function as it grows
- Work closely with stakeholders across product finance legal and technology to ensure seamless integration of processes
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of products regulatory environment rules procedures and internal controls
- Act as a point of escalation for complex operational issues driving issues through to resolution
