Chronicle is blockchain-agnostic, deployable on both public and enterprise ledgers, and features a community-powered consensus network of 22 validators, including prominent entities like Infura, Etherscan, and MakerDAO. Originally developed in 2017 for MakerDAO to facilitate the creation of SAI (DAI's predecessor), it continues to be the exclusive oracle provider for MakerDAO, securing billions in assets and supporting its money markets.

About the Role
You will own the day-to-day operation of finance, people, and compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions and employment structures. You will manage payroll, payments, invoicing, crypto transaction reporting, HR processes, vendors, audits, board documentation, and operational compliance workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years in an operations or finance operations role
- Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and vendor payments
- Comfort with fiat and crypto-native payment rails, including stablecoins and multisig transaction workflows
- Experience running payroll across multiple jurisdictions and employment structures
- Experience managing full-cycle hiring and core HR operations
- Ability to prepare financial documentation for board reporting, audits, and due diligence
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to build processes and operate with ambiguity
Responsibilities
- Manage Swiss payroll and coordinate contractor payments through the Employer of Record
- Review, approve, and pay vendor invoices through fiat bank transfers and stablecoins
- Issue customer invoices, track outstanding balances, and follow up on payments
- Execute multisig crypto transactions following transaction-verification and treasury-safeguarding practices
- Report monthly crypto transactions and balances across multiple Safes
- Prepare monthly financial reporting for the external Swiss accountant partner
- Manage vendor and service-provider relationships
- Reconcile company credit card accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Manage team expense reimbursements
- Manage the Employer of Record relationship and maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and payments
- Own onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Run full-cycle hiring, including sourcing, resume screening, interview scheduling, feedback collection, and offer coordination
- Manage and update internal HR policies
- Plan and execute company offsites, including logistics, budget, and travel
- Review Swiss VAT and annual tax filings prepared by external partners
- Maintain financial and legal documentation for audits, due diligence, and partner reviews
- Prepare board-ready financial reporting documentation
- Own operational compliance workflows supporting ISO 27001 and SOC 2
