About the Role

You will build and lead the local marketing function, owning the marketing strategy and aligning it with business growth targets. You will partner with the General Manager and cross-functional leads, lead marketing planning and budgeting with ROI accountability, run full-funnel ATL, BTL and social campaigns, create processes and documentation to guide project delivery, lead market intelligence and consumer insights work, and travel upcountry about once per month.

Requirements

  • Degree in marketing communication sales business development or management
  • At least 12 years of marketing experience including at least 5 years in leadership with team management and budget ownership
  • Proven experience leading large-scale multi-channel marketing strategies with measurable commercial impact
  • Experience managing significant marketing budgets with strong ROI discipline
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Work authorization in Burkina Faso

Responsibilities

  • Own the local marketing strategy aligned with growth targets
  • Partner with the General Manager and functional leads
  • Lead marketing planning, budgeting and ROI accountability
  • Align local strategies with group marketing direction
  • Lead and supervise full-funnel campaigns across ATL BTL and Social Media
  • Create processes and documentation for project delivery
  • Lead market intelligence efforts including consumer insights market analysis brand health and channel performance
