About the Role

You will develop and implement a structured global events strategy and processes. You will build and run the project management function for events, including event briefs and SOPs, and prioritize event opportunities. You will lead end-to-end execution of Thesis-led and sponsored activations at major conferences, coordinate travel for leadership, manage vendors and sponsors, oversee budgets, and run post-event analysis to improve outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of event management experience with at least 2 years in strategy and leadership
  • Experience building and managing structured event processes including event briefs and SOPs
  • Proven vendor management experience including contract negotiation and oversight of third-party suppliers
  • Proven track record planning and executing large-scale events
  • Strong budget management and sponsorship negotiation skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and manage multiple projects
  • Experience in team leadership and development

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a global event strategy
  • Build and manage the events project management function including briefs and SOPs
  • Create standardized processes for event prioritization, execution, and post-event analysis
  • Lead end-to-end execution of events and activations at major conferences
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for leadership attendance
  • Coordinate and produce marketing-event assets such as merchandise and swag
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners, sponsors, and stakeholders
  • Develop and execute sponsorship strategies to maximize engagement and ROI
  • Build and manage event budgets and optimize resource allocation
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with marketing, BD, DevRel, and product
  • Oversee vendor selection, negotiation, and coordination of production, venues, AV, and catering
