About the Role
You will build and run a scalable compliance program covering financial crime, securities regulation, privacy, marketing, employment, anti-corruption, regulatory registrations, and emerging regulatory requirements. You will write and implement policies, establish testing and monitoring, create reporting and governance processes, support registrations and examinations, advise cross-functional teams, improve compliance training, and use AI and automation to streamline compliance workflows.
Requirements
- Experience building a compliance program, establishing a major part of one, or materially improving an existing program
- Broad compliance experience across multiple domains
- Strong knowledge of policies, controls, monitoring, testing, training, reporting, and governance
- Experience supporting regulatory registrations, examinations, audits, or similar engagements
- Ability to set the approach and execute compliance work directly
- Ability to provide clear, practical guidance and manage risk pragmatically
- Good judgement and confidence raising concerns directly
- Comfort working in a growing company with evolving priorities and regulatory questions
- Experience in crypto, digital assets, or onchain financial products is a bonus
- Familiarity with regulatory issues affecting traditional and onchain finance is a bonus
- A compliance designation such as CAMS, CRCM, or CCEP is a bonus
- Existing experience working with relevant regulators is a bonus
- Experience using AI, automation, or data tooling within a compliance program is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Build and run the compliance program, including priorities, governance, controls, and operating cadence
- Draft, update, and implement policies and procedures across the business
- Establish compliance testing and monitoring
- Create reporting, escalation, and governance processes for compliance risks and issues
- Support regulatory registrations and prepare the business for resulting requirements
- Coordinate regulatory examinations, audits, and related information requests
- Partner with Legal, Product, Engineering, Finance, People, and commercial teams to incorporate compliance requirements into daily work
- Review and improve company-wide compliance training
- Advise the business on financial crime, privacy, marketing, securities, anti-corruption, employment, and other relevant areas
- Use AI and automation to improve monitoring, reporting, policy management, and compliance workflows
- Keep the compliance program current as products, clients, and regulatory obligations evolve
